26 December, 2001: "Common sense prevails"By Kathy Kinsley Mark Gebel has been acquitted on charges of criminal abuse of animals. Since they had no proof of any abuse, the suit mostly amounted to a bid for publicity. Extremist activists in animal rights (or any other area) simply give their whole movement a bad reputation.
