Announcing the birth of a Bicycling Weblog!

Link: http://www.cyclingdude.blogspot.com/

Do you Bicycle? Since 1817 the bicycle's been our friend. It expects nothing other than regular upkeep.
It offers much: The pleasure of a breeze on the road, in city, or mountains. A simple, and cheap, way to travel, and a great workout.
From Bike Lanes to Rail Trails, from inner city to rural countryside, from beaches to prairies, Cyclists are out and about alone, or with family or friends, getting close to their environment, natural and man-made.
Let me tell you about our world in a weblog born in January 2003......

A letter to...well, he'll know

A letter to...well, he'll know.

Yes. I do get impatient with people who tell me that they want to be loved, but never do anything about it. The line to spit at me forms to the right.

Merchants of Death

Link: http://photoncourier.blogspot.com

Hans Blix evidently wants to hide the names of companies doing business with Iraq (including the sale of weapons components), or at least to defer this decision to the UN security council. However, info has leaked to the German press concerning a number of companies in that country--some of them have relationships with Iraq which go back a very long time.

Operation Santa Claus

Link: http://asmallvictory.net

Bloggers Kim and Scott have combed through the letters to Santa at the Manhattan post office. They are going shopping this coming Saturday to purchase presents for some less fortunate kids.

Go, take a look at their pictures from the post office and read about the effort. Think about donating or at least mentioning it on your blog.

Notorious

Link: http://everythingmustgo.blogspot.com

The impending war with Iraq and the war on terror in general reminds me of the movie Notorious. It's a war movie with Cary Grang and Ingrid Bergman...the main idea is that they're both spies or something, Bergman is definitely on the side of the Allies, but she doesn't know if Grant if on our side or a double agent...

John "Akatsukami" Braue

Link: http://www.win.net/ratsnest/log.htm

I didn't need to hear that.

Of course, the person telling it didn't need to live it. Maybe we should think about that, too.

Fiskwah

Link: http://www.arabnews.com/Article.asp?ID=20895

Booby Fisk has written up some more garbage, this time about why the US can't crack Al Qaeda. I got it from ArabNews (that paragon of journalistic virtues). I haven't found a Fisking of it (if you find one, then I guess I'm late), so I'd like to declare a Fiskwah. Fisk away. Blow his arguments up the same way our JDAMs blew the shit out of the Taliban.

"Stop the hate", a technical tutorial to trace the origin of hate messages

Link: http://www.factsofisrael.com/load.php?p=/blog/archives/000450.html

A few weeks ago I posted "Stop the Hate", a technical tutorial to trace the origin of hate messages. It's still relevant and I believe is useful to many in the Blogosphere.

Did you ever receive hate mail? Do you have a blog and wish you could find out who’s sending you those racist messages and make sure they face up to the consequences of their acts?

Are you Jewish, Italian, Irish, Christian, Black, Hindu, Muslim, a woman, gay, or part of any minority and have received a hate message? Well, I decided to write this tutorial to help you stop the hate messages, or at least to make some people face up to the consequences for their racist emails – read on and you’ll be better equipped to react when you are attacked.

Click here to read the post or download the tutorial in MS Word format here. Enjoy and don't hesitate to send me an email or comment on the document.

The Correct Decision

Link: http://site-essential.com/blog/03Dec02.shtml#1129

Just as much of the far-left's agenda helps the Islamist extremists, so does some of the religious-right's agenda. I'm asking everyone, anywhere in the political spectrum, to look carefully at their favorite political ideas, and before going forward, ask themselves: "Will this help the enemy?" Please.
