Why?

Zidane gave us the best moment of the competition. The only way to make soccer interesting is to merge it with cage-fighting. It’s a mindnumbing game, and I’m a European. This on the the other hand is the game they play in heaven. All other football is for wusses….

I like Rugby too - and Aus rules football. American football, however, is definitely for wusses…

I think the latest Florida gator census came up with 1.7 MILLION of the critters, which is a few too many for the turf, I think. Here in our Panhandle neck of the woods, the Mobile Bay Estuary alone has it’s own population count. As of last year…FORTY THOUSAND gators. Forty THOUSAND. That’s just an incomprehensible number of big mouths with large teeth.

And of course they’re not green. {8^P

I follow it all too well - especially when the (non-violent) followers of both claim “they aren’t REAL… ” and then fail to actually say that same thing to their violent co-religionists.

I thought all religious fanatics inflicted violence on others? It doesn’t matter which religion it is. History proves that most conflicts are fought over religion. You would think people would learn from it, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
