Cartoons update

If you’ve been following the controversy closely, you’ll know that there were some fake (and much more insulting) cartoons added ( by the group who went on tour to drum up outrage) to the ones that Jyllands-Posten actually published. One of them has been traced - turns out it isn’t a cartoon at all but a picture of a man in a pig-squealing contest.

Now, if it turns out it was actually the touring “Imams” who faked this picture, will people riot against them and threaten them with beheading?

That one, and the other two that were added, were fake. And those three were far more insulting than the real cartoons.

If you have watched BBC’s HardTalk, you would have noticed that very fleeting but detectable upper lip snarl by Imam Abu Laban as Fleming Rose made his point next to him in front of host Steven Sackur.
