Buy Danish

See here

An Islamic cultural organisation has called upon its 51 member states to boycott Denmark in response to cartoons of the prophet Mohammed printed three months ago in national daily Jyllands-Posten.

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) stated on its webpage that it sought a condemnation of ‘the aggressive campaign waged against Islam and its Prophet’ by Jyllands-Posten.

Abdulaziz Othman al-Twaijri, the organisation’s secretary general, reportedly told Arabic TV station Al-Arabiya that member states would impose a boycott until an apology was offered for the drawings.

If they stand their ground, and refuse to ban free speech in Denmark, I suggest we might want to buy Danish imports for a while…

I’ll go with the beer, but I can’t get down with the furniture.

By now, any thinking person knows that islamists tend to speak through the inferior os with naturally a lot of bad gas going along with their utterances of an inverted world. Imagine also those that were not translated into English!

Do you know who prophet Mohammad is? Well, I think this is just the right time to learn more about his life and his love not just to his people but to mankind. I suggest that you search for information about him. You’ll certainly wish he was alive now knowing the real peace he brought to life. When he governed, he allowed no Muslim to make fun of any other race or nationality. He treated even enemies with justice and fairness. Ie the end,I would like to thank you for opening doors and eyes of people to search for info. The illustrations will only make people think: Who is this Mohammad the world is fussing about? Then truth comes out.

Is freedom of speach a tool to be used to insult others or to express opinions and views? can any one tell me if it is ok to make a cartoon where jesus is doing… a kid because he is gay in my opinion? is it ok to make the cross look like a d…. in between the lges of a women? is it ok to draw the bible as the toilet paper in a shitty bathroom?
you see people , one have to a draw the line between respect and insulting and betwen expressing ideas and thoughts, if we are to allow any one to do any thing then the world will become a jungle as wild as one can imagine, but it is the blind hatred that drive people to become unfair and just allow thinsg when they are against those whom they hate. I do belive that law and order and limits should be alwasy controling how far one can go, is it not that is why some TV staion get banded as well because they are not free to say even the truth when it makes hatred , or is it ok for one and not for the other ?

What you are talking about, Bob, comes under the heading of good manners. Rude, crude, and obnoxious speech is permitted - if there is to be any freedom of speech, there must be freedom of speech for everyone.
Including those who want to insult Jesus, Mohammed, Moses, Vishnu, Buddha, etc.

We are also free to object to such speech. And to boycott those who say such things.
What I object to is GOVERNMENTS boycotting other governments because someone residing in a country exercised their freedom of speech - and that is what is happening with Denmark.

    It is working!

A huge thank you from Denmark to all of you who are supporting the buy danish campaign.

Today danish newspapers can report that we just might have a larger turnover from the world supporting us, than we are loosing on the ones boycotting danish products.

This sincerely proves that together we can make a difference!
