Sometimes, intolerance is a GOOD thing.

Iran tells West to be tolerant of Holocaust views

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s denial of the Holocaust is a matter for academic discussion and the West should be more tolerant of his views, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman said on Sunday.

I think the phrase “just say no” applies to that request…

  1. I shall damn well become tolerant of HIS views when he becomes tolerant of MINE!
In all the pictures of Iran (or almost everywhere in the Middle East, for that matter) I have yet to see a Christian church or a Jewish synagogue.
This is TOLERANCE??? I think NOT!!!

  2. I hope Israel shows its tolerance by reducing their Nuke plants to rubble.

  4. As a certain dear friend used to be fond of saying - I think this guy’s turban is way too tightly twisted! The trouble is that he is only voicing the s**t that is published daily in Arab language newspapers.

It is plain unacceptable and its time our Arab “friends” were told that in no uncertain terms by everyone - including Tony Blair and his party of Palestinian Terrorist apologists!

  5. Heh…well, don’t miss the news because our boy just had western music outlawed on state radio and TV (the only sources of music besides smuggled CDs and tapes).

  6. Yeah - and he’s going to regret that move. It was the young people that overthrew the Shah…

  7. We have official tolerance for such psychotically evil nonsense – in the form of the First Amendment. Why, here I’m free to claim the Holocaust never happened, the earth is flat, and the South won the Civil War. Government tolerance, however, does not mean agreement, the right to be taken seriously, or the right to force anyone else to tolerate my views. It only means that I can’t be officially censored, arrested or imprisoned for them.

But what would Ahmadinejad know of tolerance? Iran tolerates nothing. (Need I ask whether Iran tolerates “pro-Zionist” remarks?)

  8. Constitutional protections only apply to American citizens. Ahmadinejad is not an American citizen.
