It’s a bit wild outside - but too dark to take pictures. My parents’ place (in South Ft Myers) still has power and phone. so far. From reports coming out of Cape Coral, it’s likely I’m without power - will see later today. It’s making land fall south of us - but with an eye the width of that one, we are still getting some pretty strong winds and the usual sideways rain. I’ll see if I can get some pics up later (if we still have power here). But it looks like I’ll be personally safe, so don’t y’all worry.

Stay safe babe.
Let’s hope that Wilma leaves Fred and his trusty club at home when she comes ashore - I reckon you don’t need the full family with Wilma as mad as she is!
Stay safe my friend!
It appears that Cape Coral is in the same position that Galveston was with Rita by being on the “clean” side of Wilma.
Hope you fared as well as we did and get power back in two days or less.
Do watch out for gators looking for high land, though.
Power out - on laptop that’s a bit low on power itself. But doing ok - and checked on my place, also ok - going back tomorrow sometime.
P.S. Snakes are more a worry than gators - gators you can see coming! But even water moccasins will try to get away from flood waters.
