Stuck in the middle again…

This is the left:

Howard Dean accurately describes the overwhelmingly white, christian nature of the Republican party.

Karl Rove says liberals are traitors.

Jeff Jarvis throws his hands up and says its all the same thing. Sheesh.

This is the right:

Some of us have heart-felt principles and see Karl Rove’s words as speaking truth to impotence.

Which just goes to prove Jane’s Law:

The devotees of the party in power are smug and arrogant. The devotees of the party out of power are insane.

Both of the Willis quotes (Oliver’s last name is Willis, I don’t know if there’s a relation) were gathered from the comments at this post, titled “Stuck in the fringes’ tug of war: We’re the rope” by Jeff Jarvis

Indeed we are, and this particular rope is beginning to fray… and is sincerely hoping both sides will end up neck deep in muck (or worse) when the frayed rope finally breaks.

I’m still trying to figure out exactly where Rove called liberals “traitors”.

He didn’t. But neither was he ’speaking truth to impotence’.

I’m afraid that you now have me thinking about the permutations of “like Kryptonite to impotent”.

ROFL… and now you’ve got me thinking of permutations of the same…
