A mystery solved.

Profile: Mark Felt

I don’t expect younger readers will ever quite understand the fascination that many of those of us who lived through the Nixon years (and were old enough then to really remember) have with the man known as “Deep Throat.”

That’s ok, just skip to the next post. For the rest of us… Mark Felt, aka ‘Deep Throat’…. Some of us saw him as a hero and others of us saw him as a traitor. I’m afraid we aren’t far enough along, even yet, for history to pronounce a verdict. But, either way, we now know whodunit.

    Perhaps the difference is that Dick Tuck performed hoaxes and Mark Felt leaked inconvenient facts?
