Aurora hero is official citizen
Two years ago, after enlisting in the U.S. Army National Guard, an Aurora teenager left home to become a soldier.
Four months ago, despite being seriously wounded, he drove his comrades through a grenade attack in Iraq and became a hero.
After spending four weeks in a coma, the young man opened his eyes on Christmas Eve and became a miracle.
And Monday, Cpl. Victor Alfonso Rojas raised his right hand and took the Oath of Allegiance — and became an American.
I differ a bit on that one. He was already an American. The oath just confirmed it.

Agree! Glad to see it confirmed though.

Too bad we can’t ship out two of the ‘Hollowood’ crowd for every kid like this we welcome in.
