Amsterdam: Verdonk deports imams due to national security concerns
Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk is moving to deport three Muslim clerics because of accusations they represent a threat to public order and national security.
The three imams will be declared undesirable aliens and two of them will have their residence permits cancelled, the first such action has been taken against clerics.
In the third imam’s case, an application for an extension of a residence permit will be refused.
We should be doing the same.

[update] Hmm. Judging from the comment below, perhaps I should be clearer. We should not hesitate to expel any foreign national who preaches hatred, or recruits for terrorist groups, no matter whether or not they are a cleric. Note to the commenter below: if a Catholic priest recruits for the IRA, I’d say the same. (Catholic priests who are pedophiles, OTHO, should just be hung on the spot).

absolutely. a well thought out declaration. and i’ll go ya further: catholic priests, ugly people, nigerians, trotskyites, and lovers of the state. no, wait – that would mean you’d be axed. scratch that last one, because i can only suggest generalized lists for boot candidates; safer that way when playing god. and people who drive pintos. there. the list is complete. i notice you don’t have the nerve to kick islamic priests out yourself. just pontificate and declare. bleh.

Did you read the article? I have no urge to kick out all Islamic priests.
Just the Islamist ones who aren’t citizens. And I’d happily kick them out myself if the state wouldn’t arrest me for doing so.
BTW, if Gary North weren’t a citizen, I’d happily kick him out too. I don’t like theocrats of any stripe.
