    Kathy do you realize that if it wasn’t for the war bloggers, Churchill would be laboring in obscurity, with only a relative handful ever reading the kooky non-sense right this minute. Now, after the war bloggers have built him up to iconic status, every one knows who he is, his words have been reprinted untold thousands of times and whole world gets to read his pathetic bullshit. War bloggers have done more to spread his fairly non-representative views about 9/11to the world who otherwise would never have heard of him. And if any terrorists take any comfort in his diatribe it will because war bloggers decided, for whatever reason, to make this guy out to be something he never could have achieved on his own, a media star.

    And your point is? I think it’s important to know that such nutcases exist and teach at our schools. Nonetheless, this is my first mention of him by name on this blog, so I don’t think I’m going to say ‘guilty as charged’.

    I’m too young to appreciate it, yes, but old enough to know that I’m glad about that fact.

    I still shudder at the realization that I was born in the Carter years.
