Has U.S. threatened to vaporize Mecca?

Interesting. Whether or not it’s true, it’s something I’d very much like having them believe.

    I believe the US is not in the Threat Business like Mossies….but coming to think of it, it’s still a language the other side understands if they go too far. Hence with already that inner intention to go that far, they’re trying to get the nukes for themselves, like definitely in the case blustering Iran and perhaps even Egypt on the quiet - with a low key coz they wouldn’t want to lose their 2 billion annual bribe.

    When you look at the web page from which the allegation actually came, it’s clear that the guy who wrote that report is a crank.

    He also posted a picture he claimed was of the tsunami coming in. Problem is, that picture isn’t of the tsunami. (And it’s inconceivable that any person with a camera was in such a position to take such a picture of the tsunami.)

    There are other posts by him which are equally ludicrous. I give this guy a 3 out of 10 on the DEBKA scale.

    Steven, he is a crank. But even cranks can be right by accident.
    You’ll note the title of my post. I don’t actually believe the US has made this threat (though I wouldn’t care to predict what we might do after a truly huge attack).
    But, as I said at the end, I’d very much like them to believe it.

    Not a chance did we threaten to nuke Mecca. However, I believe (hope?) that we threatened to do a Saddam on that corrupt family.
