TIME Person of the Year 2004: George W. Bush

I saw this news at Outside the Beltway. I believe my reaction can best be described by the British slang, “gobsmacked".

I expected them to come up with anybody else.

  1. Don’t forget their caveat, though, that it’s the person Good or Bad who had the greatest impact that year; and some of the writing about him was really a very thinly disguised slam, too.
