Lying is a holy obligation ?!

A Bellow From The Den……..

According to the Islamic principle of Taqiah or dissimulation, the clerical rulers of Iran have every right to lie and deceive their enemies, and an international agreement signed under duress with non-believers can be broken if necessary. In other words Taqiah trumps Iran’s commitment to the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

That too-tightly-twisted-turban-crowd™ has taken great advantage of that little “escape hatch”, all the while claiming great piety and purity. MB calls BS !!

The last 3 paragraphs in the cited article contain some good ideas, but MB happens to believe it will take a good deal more than just those; we will have to be ready to do just about anything! The mullahs and ayatollahs have to go to their 72 raisins destiny now !!

If a cultural ideology still very much possesses that arrogance and idiot temerity to regard non-believers as inferiors and dhimmis, it’s nothing much more for them to include deceit in its dealings with others. Besides that is mandatory in their holely ways.

Taqiyya developed among Shi’a as a defense against persecution by the majority Sunnis. It is considered permissable to hide tha fact that one is a Shi’a if the alternative will be Sunnis killing you or otherwise doing you a mischief.

The mullahs seem to have taken this principle and made it into one that allows any lie so long as it serves the state interests of the Islamic Republic. Daniel Pipes has quoted Khomeini as saying that even violating Islamic law and the precepts of the Koran were acceptable if the interests of his revolutionary government demanded it.

Why the Euros put up with this blatant lying is a more mysterious matter. Do they want to be held in contempt by the Iranians and others? Do the Euros, who keep harping to us about how wonderful diplomacy is, want to demonstrate that diplomacy is completely ineffective, where great issues are concerned; that it is nothing more than a way of stupidly allowing your enemies to triumph without cost?
