Do you suppose that the National Organization of Women would be interested in this story? No, I didn’t think so either, they are probably too busy outing Cheney’s daughter.
I believe the NOW gals are still working on their congratulatory press release relative to the voting rights bestowed upon the fine women of Afghanistan. Apparently, their IBM Selectric is lacking in expeditiousness.
WTF is it with Muslims that they have brothers raping their sisters with some degree of frequency? This is not the first case of it I have read of, nor is Iran the only place where it occurs. And what do the parents do? They kill the poor girl for “dishonoring” the family. It’s the effing family that’s dishonoring her, and themselves, dammit.
It’s stuff like this that makes one speculate occasionally that, despite all evidence to the contrary, Ann Coulter was right about something. After 9/11 she suggested: conquer them and convert them all to Christianity.
