What they are reading in Europe.

Sheer propaganda.

Erik of ¡No Pasarán! links, and translates parts of, an article in Le Monde 2 (Le Monde’s weekly magazine) It is sheer and total propaganda. All about the poor soldiers fighting in Iraq. No attempt at any sort of balanced view. Erik, in fact, titled his post: “Hand-wringing reporting on the inhumane plight of the “young soldiers so badly prepared for war” without once interviewing… an American serviceman”.

How can we fight that kind of propaganda?

  1. No need to fight it…merely ignoring it is enough. Perhaps France would like to surrender on our behalf since they seem to feel such emotion towards it.

Regardless, the simple truth of the matter is that a record number of US Service Men and Women (Capitals on damn purpose) will be voting Bush should their absentee ballots be allowed by the democratic party (lower damn case on purpose) to count this year. Estimates are upwards of 75%. Personally, I think the Frances, and the Germanys and the Spains are easier to manage when we know they are out to screw us. That way we don’t have to go through all the diplomatic tap dances on every foreign matter. Oh yeah, ask France how that Ivory Coast thing’s coming…Any treaty yet? Not…Ce La Vie
