Sex scandal!

Fox In The XXX Factor

Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly yesterday launched a pre-emptive legal strike against his associate producer, charging that she’s trying to extort $60 million in “blood money” by threatening charges of sex harassment.

“The O’Reilly Factor” host claims that the producer, Andrea Mackris, and her lawyer, Benedict Morelli, demanded the enormous payoff in exchange for not going public with their claim that O’Reilly harassed her for more than two years.

Mackris, 33, immediately countered with a lawsuit of her own that accuses O’Reilly, 55, of repeatedly pressuring her to engage in phone sex and giving her explicit sexual advice dating back to May 2002.

Mackris’ suit says O’Reilly talked about sex with her numerous times after he learned that she had split with a boyfriend.

I expect we’ve got something that may drive election news off the front page.

According to an article on posted on Drudge last night, this producer went over to CNN for a time then, for some unknown reason, begged to return to FOX and the O’Reilly Factor.
What is wrong with THIS picture?
Am I the only that thinks there is something awfully fishy here?
A scandal, whether true or not, about FOX would go a long way in getting Kerry’s election woes off the front page at a very critical time. Am I being paranoid? After watching the debate and Kerry’s cheap shot at Mary Cheney, I don’t really think so.
I am aware the gaffe was made after the O’Reilly suit was publicized, but it, the suit, will have the effect of getting the Cheney and other Kerry/Edwards gaffes off the front pages of the alternate media (Bloggers, Rush, et. al.) for a while. Especially since the main stream media (MSM) is looking for ANY excuse to put FOX behind the Eight Ball.

It has nothing to do with politics. Thank G-d there’s news other than election news!!!!

As far as her motivation, I agree that something’s fishy, color of money?

Most likely the color of money; although I must admit my first thought on seeing the story was an immediate (and slightly sarcastic) “I question the timing…”.
