On October 12, 2002, in Bali, Islamist terrorists murdered 202 people and injured many more, some severely.

Don’t forget. It wasn’t just here on Sept 11th. Their attacks have been all around the world. This is a war, not a ‘police action’. The Australians understand that. Do we?

This is a war to the death will people who hate us for what we believe. If we don’t get this election right it’s hard to see how we will survive in a way we all understand now. One huge bomb planted in an American city will change everything. Our enemies understand this, does John Kerry?

I don’t believe he does. I don’t think he really understands the American people.

But I don’t think the enemies really understand how another major attack would change things. They think we’ll fold eventually. They don’t understand us at all.
