Florida Cracker (Broward County), who has some pictures. I particularly like the second picture in this post.
Eye of the Storm is tracking (from Tally town) and providing some good info and explanations. Latest update is here
Boudicca’s Voice has an ISP down but still has power and is posting via a friend.
Babalu Blog(Miami) has things under control… or did yesterday. We haven’t heard from him yet today.
Transterrestrial Musings is blogging and hurricane blogging.
Andrea Harris (Orlando area) is still up and running. She’s promising pictures… if her power lasts.
As for me, we are now getting feeder bands through. Fairly wild, but nothing like Charley. We’ve got tropical storm conditions and are under a flood watch.
This is an open thread for hurricane discussions. Please feel free to track it if you are blogging the hurricane. If you are a non-blogger, and in the path of the storm, leave a comment and let us know how you are doing! I’ll update this with other bloggers in the path as I find them. But right now I want to go ahead and publish just in case the power goes out or something.
[update] More hurricane blogging:
GoSC’s Ramblings, located in Melbourne.
WeatherBug, who actually flew down for the hurricane (it takes all kinds!).
Pious Agnostic (love that blog name), from the Orlando area [Sun: his blog is locally hosted... looks like they've lost power].
Noble Pundit (Central Florida) says it’s going to mess up his Labor Day Weekend. He’s also doing some tornado blogging. (Ack!) [Sun am update -- he's still online]
Inoperable Terran (near Apopka) [update] has now lost power.
[me update]
The reason those of us who just went through Charley are worried, even if we may not get more than a tropical storm. This is one of the piles of debris on my street.

Hey, you’re missing the link to my post!
I am blogging from the Orlando area as well, until the power fails. Just in case you’re interested…
I’m actually in Winter Springs, about 10 miles north of Orlando proper and about 4 miles south of the Sanford airport.
Nothing came of the first tornado warning. I just wonder how long it will be before the next one comes along…
Don’t worry about the warnings. Just get under cover (somewhere with no windows) if you hear something that sounds like a freight train approaching…
Hang in there. I hope it’s over soon.
Unfortunately “soon” seems to be the one thing it’s not going to be.
I’m up and running finally. I am just so glad that thing was only a 2 when it hit! If it had been a Cat 4 sittin’ there spinnin’ off the coast, we would have been in a whole heap of trouble.
Glad to hear you are back up! If Frances had been Cat 4 when it hit, I doubt either of us would be posting right now.

Bring back that sunny day–
Well, the sun goes in, the sun goes out… It’s stopped raining for now and the sun is half out. I turned on the tv to see where the storm was but I’m getting tired of the hysterical “OMG the wind is teh scarey!” commentary so I think I’ll change …
[...] e H’s incredible sarcasm about it. A roundup of some folks blogging the storm is at Kathy’s place.

Hurricane blogging
Kathy Kinsley has a list of people blogging the hurricane. I hope everyone makes it through okay….
Hurricane Frances Update
Well, Frances is being quite the thing. Yes, it is down in strength, but it is slow and therefore dumping lots and lots of water. Many of the trees and such in Florida have shallow root systems, all the better…
Frances and the dry pussy.
Well, the cat reigning over my yard has survived Hurricane Frances. He has been holed up in shed. Apparently, he sneaked in on Friday when I was storing all the lawn furniture and crap. I dont know why, but I…
Don’t Forget
. . . to stop by Kathy Kinsley’s place for hurricane updates. Her big roundup is here, but be sure to scroll her main page. Kay has now sent me a few notes, and though they are leaving the plywood…
Tropical Depression Frances Update
Well, I still think the most depressing thing is Ivan, but that is just me. TD Frances began arriving in the Atlanta area earlier today, bringing down trees and power lines, and providing some local flooding. Power flickered here a…
