MB keeps hoping this will be the last day she’ll have to put up one of these posts, but today doesn’t look like the close of it. Kathy is now helping others, though, so that’s a good sign. Someone has a generator to take round to the various apartments in her complex so as to run each refrigerator for a short while to keep some new perishables from spoiling, and they are making arrangements to provide temporary housing in the one empty apartment for other locals who are much worse off than they. She’s hoping to use a little of that electricity to recharge her laptop so that she can finish downloading the pictures she’s taken and go take some more, so we’ll all be “treated” to seeing exactly how bad it was and still is when she finally gets back on-line.

thanks for the update momma bear. We all take comfort in knowing Kathy is doing as well as can be expected, under the circumstances, and that she came through the storm without injury to herself, or damage to her home. I will keep looking to KNN (kathy news network) for updates!
