UPDATE: Kathy is still surviving in survival mode: candles, eat up the food in the fridge, help clear away the downed trees, and then wait for the power company to do its thing. She has taken some pictures which will get posted when she’s able to get back on-line. Other than that, not much else to say except she’d rather the restoration all happened sooner than later!
MB just talked to Kathy…she’s fine, personally, but her poor truck suffered a rather severe injury [ hint, hint---->Tip Jar ].
The entire county is without power where she lives, and the latest word is it will be up to a week for full restoration. Her apartment was not damaged, as the flood surge missed the high tide! The apartment group has assembled a “crew” to go start clearing the roadways of trees, as the wind really tore things up. The only bright note she’s had is that with ALL the lights out, she can see all the stars at night…even got a glimpse of the Persiad meteor showers.
More, later, as MB gets a chance to check back with her.

Glad to hear it, and please do keep us up to date MB. Please do also continue to let us know what we can do for Kathy and others!
Thanks, Momma.
Glad to hear she is safe, even though she has to work by starlight.
Meteor showers? Dang, all I saw all night were clouds. They never really left until morning, and then by 1pm they were back.
