Cleric vows to continue fight against U.S. troops
Militant Shiite Muslim cleric Muqtada al-Sadr vowed Monday that he would fight to the death rather than submit to demands that his militia lay down its arms and abandon the Shiite holy city of Najaf.
He’s a power-hungry gang leader, not a cleric. His father was a cleric. You don’t inherit the ability to be a cleric. It takes long study. He’s too young. He should be treated like the gang leader he is. And the media should start calling a thug a thug.

al-Sadr, fight to the death? Just like last time, he’s having young, impressionable punks do the fighting for him. He’ll negotiate a peace, again, just so he won’t be killed. He’s a cowardly punk, just like Saddam.
I still don’t understand why this is a problem
They want to go to terrorist heaven, we want to send them there. Still sounds like a win-win to me.
