Good points.

Here’s a statement from one of the co-producers of the beheading video hoax. He makes a lot of excellent points about the media. A good many also apply to bloggers (in other words, mea culpa — I may not have been fooled long but I was fooled).

    Good as far as it goes, but it was still extremely stupid. It’s like testing airline security by bringing your own bomb on board.

    Except it’s nothing like that.

    A) that is breaking a law, we did not break the law

    B) that is putting actual people in harms way, we did not people in harms way

    C) you just think it’s stupid because you are jelous
