Links are my choice, but do not necessarily reflect my opinion. I often link to articles, sites and blogs with which I disagree. This article explains those problems. For some reason, the author (or maybe editor) feels obliged to spend the first nine paragraphs explaining that Liberia was founded by freed slaves from the US, and how it still has some US-like ideas (it was officially recognized as an independent country by Abraham Lincoln).
